We are looking for 2 enthusiastic Scale A teachers to join our team in 2026, working with students in Y7–8.

At Henderson Intermediate, we believe the middle years are a pivotal stage in every learner's journey.

Responsibilities / Qualities

We are seeking teachers who :

Manage both learning and behaviour effectively and positively.

Build strong, respectful relationships with akonga, whanau, and colleagues.

Bring energy, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset to teaching.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum.

Create inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments.

Show genuine passion for working with students in the middle years.

Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

These are permanent positions commencing 28 January 2026.
