About the Role | Mō te Tūranga

We’re looking for a Baker to join our Woolworths New Zealand team.

$32.70 Per Hour

• Full Time Poisition - 40 hours - Friday - Tuesday 4 : 00AM - 12 : 30PM
• Location Rangiora East
• Prepare, bake, and present a consistent range of quality breads, cakes, and pastries to production schedules.
• Set up the bakery each day, including ingredient preparation, equipment checks, and oven management.
• Monitor product freshness and stock levels throughout shifts; rotate, replenish, and merchandise bakery displays.
• Uphold strict Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, including cleaning, sanitation, temperature logs, and allergen controls.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service, including product guidance and responding to special orders.
• Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets and promotional plans.
• Train, coach, and supervise bakery apprentices and team members as required.
• Manage waste and shrink through accurate batching, portioning, and storage practices.
• Complete daily paperwork and reporting related to production, safety, and inventory.
