The Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Programme at Duke-NUS investigates the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases.
Our research spans both fundamental cancer biology and translational studies, with a particular focus on cancers prevalent in Asian populations.
Responsibilities
Execute and support all aspects of the research project.
Perform experimental work including (but not limited to) cell culture, molecular cloning, Western blotting, flow cytometry, and mouse handling.
Accurately record, analyse, and report experimental data.
Assist in procurement, reagent management, equipment maintenance, and adherence to laboratory safety standards.
Contribute to data interpretation, presentations, and publications.
Support laboratory organisation and the development of new experimental workflows.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Proven hands-on laboratory experience and a solid understanding of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques.
Excellent documentation and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
A strong sense of initiative, responsibility, and scientific curiosity.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Prior experience with mouse work, or knowledge of R or Python for data analysis will be highly advantageous.
