About the Role
The visiting neurodevelopmental therapist (VNT) works with children 0-3 years of age who have, or are at risk of, a disability and / or developmental delay.
The VNT will be a registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, working in a transdisciplinary capacity.
The VNT will work in profession specific assessment and intervention, and as part of the CDS multidisciplinary team.
CDS operates over three sites (Te Wao Nui, Kenepuru and Puketiro) with clinics also offered in Kapiti.
All clinicians must be able to work over all three sites if requested to do so.
Work is within outpatient clinics and in community settings, such as homes and education facilities.

Child Development Service (CDS) is a multidisciplinary team, working together to provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for pepi, tamariki, rangatahi with disabilities and / or developmental delays and their whanau.
About you
OR NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practicing certificate.
