We are seeking an entry level Data and Insights Analyst to join our Research and Insights team.
This role plays a crucial support role in driving data-informed decision-making across Whakaata Maori by delivering actionable insights that support audience engagement, content strategy, and reo Maori revitalisation.
You will use analytic tools to generate performance reports, track organisational outcomes, and provide data-driven insights that inform content, marketing, and platform development.
This is a full-time position, based at our head office in East Tamaki.
Provide regular monitoring, performance reporting, and insights for both business-as-usual and statutory requirements.
Analyse quantitative data to extract insights that guide strategic initiatives for platforms, content and monthly performance.
Manage analytics platforms - Google Analytics 4, Brightcove, Falcon, Chartbeat and Neilson ratings
Support capability-building by training staff in research, data, and insights processes.
A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or related field.
This is an entry level role where training will be provided however experience in data analysis, media or digital content environments are advantageous.
Preferred knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Brightcove, Falcon, and Google Neilson Ratings
Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting data-driven narratives to diverse audiences.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commitment to te reo Maori revitalisation and willingness to integrate te ao Maori perspectives in your work.
