Skillset Basketball is looking for Junior Coaches to join our team. This is a development role designed for those with no prior coaching experience — you’ll be supported, mentored, and given the tools to grow into a confident coach.
What you’ll do
- Teach basketball fundamentals through drills and games
- Practice coaching under guidance from senior staff
- Lead warm-ups and Hoop Club drills
- Support young players in learning and skill development
- Learn to explain the game and rules clearly
- Shadow Senior Coaches in sessions and ask questions
- Practice communication and projection to find your coaching voice
- Begin developing your own coaching style
- Assist with filming and reviewing sessions
