Overview

It's fun to work at The Y!

We are looking for a Fitness Trainer to join our team at North Shore Recreation Centre.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to consolidate or grow their Fitness Career!

The current shifts available are :

Friday 3pm -9pm

Saturday 12.30pm -5.30pm

This role is responsible for running the gym floor and will include member consultations, programming and movement coaching, as well as small group training.

What will you be doing?

Prescribe and demonstrate exercise

Generate a vibrant and inclusive environment

Proactively engage with members on the gym floor

Ensure healthy and safe practices are followed

Member consultations, program shows & reviews

Deliver Small Group Training sessions

What experience / skills do you need?

Has fitness trainer experience

Is REPs Registered (or able to be)

Holds a Fitness qualification (or currently studying)

Support to gain required qualifications can be provided

KPI include :

Promotion of our centre to prospective members to meet monthly sales targets

Ownership of retention : minimize cancellations and increase referrals through member engagement

Return a satisfactory Police Vet before commencement of employment.
