You are part of a team where your contributions are valued, and your career can grow.Routes : Auckland Wharf and Metro Auckland with occasional trips to Hamilton or Tauranga.Locations : Based out of our site in Onehunga.Hours : min 40 hours per week, full-time permanent positions.AM shift (5am start) and PM shift available.What you'll do : Operate aSkeletal Trailer Truck for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to sites across Auckland and Auckland Ports.Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.What You Will Bring : A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Dangerous Goods Licence.A minimum of 2 years' recent experience operating Class 5 Skeletal Trailer Truck transporting containers is essential.Experience with Skully Tipping, Swing, Truck & Trailer or Container Trailers is highly desirable.Sound knowledge of the Auckland Ports and Metro Auckland routes.Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.What you'll love when you join us : Job Stability you can count on – competitive rates- take the guesswork out of your WEEKLY paycheck!
