Class 5 Tipper Truck Driver- Bulk Logistics Auckland

Role Details :

Routes :  Supporting our Auckland sites and doing runs in Metro Auckland with occasional trips regionally.

Locations : Based out of our site in Favona, Auckland.

Hours : min 40 hours, full-time permanent position, working on AM shift  with a 5am start.

What you'll do :

• Operate a Tipper Truck and Trailer for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to sites across Auckland.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What you will bring to the team :

• A valid Clean Class 5 Licence.
• A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience operating Class 5 Tipper Trailer & Truck is essential and the ability to Jack Knife.
• Experience with Skully Tipping, Swing, Truck & Trailer or Container Trailers is highly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of Metro Auckland routes.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
