Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a hands-on role with structure and the chance to make a real impact?

Our Whanganui workshop is growing, and we're looking for someone to take the lead in maintaining our regional urban fleet.

What will your workday look like?

Perform routine servicing and minor repairs to keep our fleet road ready.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults across a varied fleet of school / urban buses.

Coordinate with external providers for maintenance and repairs as needed.

Ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality.

About you

A skilled and qualified Diesel Mechanic who can work independently while being part of a wider support network.

Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.

A team player who can coordinate with external service providers and internal support teams.

Ability to work independently and manage third-party service providers.

Full NZ's driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
