Wētā Workshop’s tourism team share our creativity with the world – with our Unleashed attraction in Auckland taking guests on an adventure right into the heart of movie magic.

The on-site Wētā Cave is a must-visit retail store, brimming with collectables, art, swords, jewellery, pop-culture vinlys … and much more.

We’re now looking for a Retail Manager to make sure the store is buzzing, our people are providing a great guest experience and that we’re operating efficiently.

Our ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for tourism, proven retail management experience and who enjoys and excels at leading people (especially people at the start of their careers). Ideally, you’ll have a love of our industry, too!

You’ll have the confidence to build our strategy – living and breathing our vision here at Unleashed and achieving our KPIs in the process. A savvy commercial mind that can make data-driven decisions to the best out of our products will be needed, too.

Collaboration is key in this role – with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

We are open 7 days – while the standard hours are Monday to Friday you will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

This role will be responsible for 5+ direct reports.
