Key Responsibilities
Provide support towards achieving production goals in the broodstock, incubation, and larval departments.
Ensure the optimal health and well-being of our fish stock.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with fellow technicians and supervisors across various departments to achieve seamless operations.
Assist in the assurance that all Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) are fully operational and functioning efficiently.
Perform all production activities with utmost safety, humane practices, and in accordance with relevant compliance standards.
Work Schedule Requirements
As an Aquaculture Technician at Manaki Whitebait, you will be required to work weekends and evenings to ensure the optimal health and well-being of our fish stock and to support our production goals.
This flexibility is essential to maintain seamless operations and to respond to the dynamic needs of our aquaculture environment.
