About The Mahi (Role)

Kickstart and grow your medical administration career with TBI Health by joining our Dunedin team as a Clinic Administrator (part-time, 16 hours per week) . Based in our welcoming Dunedin Clinic, you will work Thursdays and Fridays , supporting our team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.

You will work closely with another administrator to ensure everything runs smoothly across the week, maintaining great communication and collaboration to support both the team and our clients.

With full training and ongoing support from the Regional Clinic Manager and Clinic Administration Team Leader , you will step into a varied, people-focused role where you will have the opportunity to make it your own.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Welcoming and assisting clients in person and over the phone
  • Supporting clinicians with scheduling and diary management
  • Managing payments, invoicing, and clinic supplies
  • Administering ACC, insurer, and third-party contracts
  • Helping keep the clinic running smoothly through great organisation and teamwork

About The Dunedin Team

Our Dunedin team is a close-knit group of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Administrators, working alongside Neuropsychologists, Neurologists, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Speech Language Therapists to provide wraparound support for clients.

We pride ourselves on our collaborative, fun, and social culture, from morning walks and shared lunches to celebrating birthdays with cake!

Many of our team members have taken on additional opportunities such as Hauora Connect local champion, Health & Safety Committee member, and Supervisor roles. We’re also proud of our mahi in the equity space, building cultural capability and partnering with Māori health providers and local iwi.

With two clinics, one on High Street and one on Albany Street in the CBD, you will be joining a team that is passionate, supportive, and committed to achieving great outcomes together.

Skills and Experiences

About You

Experience with the Gensolve practice management system is an advantage, and while two years of administration experience is desirable, it’s not essential. Most important is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

To succeed in this role, you will have :
