Overview

As part of the Digital team, Cyber & Identity provides assurance that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets and systems are maintained. This includes security governance, architecture design input, risk identification and management, and vulnerability assessment. Air New Zealand is a large and complex organisation, and the cyber security team plays a key role in keeping the business safe and secure. We are looking for security experts who can navigate ambiguity, take initiative, bring strong technical expertise, and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Relationship Management : Building strong stakeholder relationships with internal business partners to become a trusted advisor who provides actionable cybersecurity insights.
• Technical Expert : Lead Air New Zealand as a subject matter expert in cyber security, including AI and associated technologies such as GenAI, LLMs, MCP and Agents.
• Transformation : Support the delivery of a cyber security step change within Air NZ's cyber security function.
