About the Role : As a Reproduction Solutions Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting dairy farmers to achieve herd reproductive success through tailored breeding advice, herd analysis, and the delivery of reproductive solutions.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position, where you will assist farmers to make informed decisions for maximising herd fertility and genetic progress.

You will work within a supportive team, collaborate with our renowned Artificial Breeding (AB) Animal Health and Herd Testing teams, and be part of a network striving for continued improvement of the New Zealand dairy sector.Key Responsibilities : Provide on-farm consultation and advice on reproductive management, herd fertility, and genetic solutions for dairy clientsAnalyse herd reproductive performance and present findings using LIC's industry-leading software and technologyDeliver breeding strategies and herd improvement plans tailored for each farm businessSupport the delivery and promotion of LIC Artificial Breeding programmes and reproductive servicesBuild strong relationships with farmers and support them throughout the breeding seasonCollaborate with AB technicians, laboratory, and field teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceededMaintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients and LIC teamsStay up to date with new industry regulations, technologies, and reproductive science developmentsRelevant experience in dairy farming, animal science, or agri-consultancy strongly preferredTertiary qualification in agriculture, animal science, or a related field is advantageousExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a diverse range of clientsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities for interpreting herd data and delivering recommendationsComfortable using agricultural software, digital tools, smartphones and tabletsSelf-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and within a wider teamFull, clean driver's licence and the right to work in New ZealandThis role may suit a Vet or Breeding Scientist wanting to progress their career into the commercial space.
