Senior Shepherd - Orakonui Farm

Orakonui Dairy Support is a 2,500 ha dairy support / beef finishing property located a short 10-minute drive from Taupō. This is a Shepherd General role where you will be involved in all aspects of sheep and beef operations.

Location : Taupō region. Compelling salary package with health and life insurance included.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring stock
• Animal health treatments including weighing, dagging, etc.
• Pasture management
• Operating a tractor and feeding out
• Maintaining water and fence systems

The Farm

Orakonui Dairy Support is a 2,500 ha dairy support / beef finishing property split over several land blocks and is located a short 10-minute drive from Taupō. Stock units include dairy heifer, winter cows, bulls and steers.
