What a Snr HR Manager does at Visa
The Business Partner function within the People Team at Visa acts as a trusted advisor and business partner to members of the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Island (AuNZPI) leadership team and operates as the expert on talent and organizational issues. We translate business objectives to talent priorities in a fast-paced environment, working hand-in-hand with various People Team stakeholders to plan and deliver talent programs and services to the business.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop and retain the best talent in the industry.
- Understand business strategies and develop high-impact human capital solutions.
- Adopt a data-driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the business.
- Measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs to ensure desired outcomes.
- Lead the people organization within client groups to become an Employer of Choice in the Technology industry.
- Provide daily support to managers with employee attraction, development, and retention issues, including : annual reviews, leadership coaching, career pathing, advanced reporting and metrics, and special projects.
- Collaborate with People Centers of Excellence and other PBPs to deliver superior results to the business.
- Act as a role model and thought leader on Human Capital issues and coach other People Team members.
- Represent the NZ site within the People team, ensuring visibility and accessibility for employees and leaders; serve as the primary contact for NZ-based People-related matters and escalate / resolution locally.
- Represent NZ site perspectives in regional and global forums to ensure local context is considered.
- Lead site-level engagement and change initiatives tailored to the NZ team.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
At least 10-12 years of related HR experience in an innovative and dynamic business.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Technology industry with progressive HR models.Experience designing and delivering programs in the following areas :Workforce Planning
