Fixed-term, full-time (1.0 FTE - 80 Hours per fortnight) role until 11 / 12 / 26

Salary band - $60,000 - $70,000 p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

About the role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be involved in :

assisting with practising rehabilitation exercises, restorative nursing exercises and daily living skills

patient watch / supervision and / or movement with one-on-one care

restocking and setting up of equipment

supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team

clerical duties as required

You will need to be able to commit to rotating rostered shifts.

Hours of work are Monday to Sunday inclusive, based on rostered shifts including nights and weekends.

About you :

Must hold working rights in New Zealand - this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship

Well organised, with a positive "can do" attitude and able to communicate clearly and openly

Must be able to take direction from a variety of staff

Experience working with people in a health setting will be advantageous

Salary range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA, and the salary will be in accordance with the HCA Pay Scale - between Step 1 ($60,100) and Step 5 ($70,358) p.a pro-rata, dependent on relevant experience.
