• Otago - Dunedin City Healthcare Support Worker Activities Assistant (Day Programme) Club Enliven- Taieri Permanent Part Time Assist with activities at Club Enliven Taieri and enhance the quality of life and connectedness for older people in our community.

The Role As an Activities Assistant, you will assist in planning and implementing a varied programme of activities provided to older people living in our community, who are at risk of being socially isolated.

In this role you will Assist with planning and implementing activities to enhance the quality of life, independence and connectedness for our members.

Provide support for our members needs where required for their safety and well-being.

Provide driving and kitchen assistance.

About You Ideally, you will have an interest in older people and bring practical activity skills.

We would love you to have the following : An empathy for older people Creativity, and practical skills A sense of humour Great time management skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as a team member A current full and clean driver's licence is required.

The ability to drive a manual minivan.

Basic computing skills, including Word and Outlook Bonus : Practical DIY or workshop skills About Us Club Enliven Taieri operates Monday to Friday and is based at 171 Gordon Rd, Mosgiel.
