As our Strategic Asset Advisor in the Assets & Facilities team, you'll focus on planning and advising on Council's network of aquatic centres and other major community assets.
In this role, you'll provide strategic advice, manage risk and compliance, and contribute to the delivery of capital projects that ensure our facilities are well-designed, cost-effective, and meet community needs.
You'll also lead the development of asset management plans, support major upgrades, and support the procurement of service contracts.
You will :
Contribute to long-term planning and budgets for Council's aquatic facilities and other major assetsDevelop and maintain Asset Management Plans (including Green Star standards) for Aquatic facilities and other major assetsLead risk management planning and building condition assessments for pools and support other major assetsOversee tenders and service contractsProvide technical aquatics advice to support project delivery and procurementWork closely with the Aquatics team and other stakeholders to align facility planning with community needsCollaborate across Council to integrate sustainability and innovation into asset decisions About You
You're a specialist in aquatics with the technical knowledge and project experience to make an impact.
You'll combine hands-on understanding of pool operations with strategic asset management expertise.
You will have :
Extensive experience in aquatic facility management and pool asset planningStrong knowledge of pool water treatment systems and mechanical plant operationsPool Water Treatment and Operations certification (desirable)Experience managing facility projects and capital works programmesProven ability to build strong relationships with contractors, internal teams, and community stakeholdersA track record of driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards About Us
