Job Description Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of the Banqueting department and take full responsibility as required.
You will have a passion above the rest to ensure all guests are delighted at all times and leave having the most memorable experience while at Pullman Auckland.
Being exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple tasks, your responsibilities will include : Supervising the team for preparation and service delivery in a hand on capacity.
Assist in driving service standards to ensure the highest level of service execution is achieved.
Hands on throughout all periods and areas of the kitchen brigade.
Following efficient preparation methods and standards recipes to ensure wastage costs are controlled.
Training and development of the team to ensure they grow from strength to strength Qualifications Must have a PASSION for delivering a wonderful culinary experience to all guests!
Previous experience in a hotel environment Hotel experience – 4 or 5 star product Hold a current NZ Food Safety Certificate Exceptional organizational and guest service delivery skills The ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time, working well under pressure.
