Overview

Mahitahi Trust is a not-for profit organisation who deliver kaupapa led Māori services across health, education, social, employment and housing via integrated services based on Ngā Tikanga Māori (Māori cultural beliefs and practices). The overarching commitment of Mahitahi is to improve the well-being of individuals and whānau, assisting people in their desire to regain mental wellness through a range of overlying services with foundations firmly grounded in the nurturing of wellness.

Te mahi tūranga - About the role

The Business Continuity Administrator provides proactive administrative, receptionist, and facilities support to Mahitahi and Kainga Trust. This role ensures the effective and efficient operations of the organisation by maintaining smooth office processes, managing supplies and logistics, supporting vehicle and property needs, and being a welcoming first point of contact for manuhiri.

Responsibilities

  • Proven administration and reception experience.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and office systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Relationship management skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Certificate in Customer Services or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a not-for-profit, health, or kaupapa Māori setting.

Requirements

  • Consent and undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Consent to being Driver Check, NZ Police and / or Justice vetted
