Stone Fabricator

We are a specialized countertop installer in Auckland; we work all over the Auckland region. We are looking for two stone fabricators to join us. Must have own transport

Key Responsibilities

• Measurement and Planning : Taking precise measurements to ensure the new countertop will fit perfectly in the designated space.
• Fabrication : Cutting and shaping the countertop material to the correct specifications, sometimes including custom edges or cutouts for sinks and cooktops.
• Preparation : Removing old countertops and ensuring the underlying cabinets are stable, level, and ready to support the new installation.
• Installation : Laying the new countertop slabs onto the cabinets, levelling them, and securing them with epoxy or construction adhesive.
• Seaming : Joining separate countertop pieces with matching epoxy to create a seamless and uniform surface.
• Finishing Touches : Installing or reconnecting fixtures like faucets and sinks and sealing the countertop surface to protect it from stains.
• Quality Control : Performing a final check on the installation to ensure proper fit, alignment, smooth seams, and a polished finish.
