Metal Fabricator Wanted

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an experienced and well-established company.

We are looking for 1 full-time (minimum 30 hours per week) metal fabricator on a permanent basis. This shift will be rotating roster from Monday to Friday 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00PM

The location of work will be within regions of Auckland. Our pay is $30.00-$34.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.

You will need to have at least 2 years’ relevant work experience in the same industry / field OR have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification or equivalent qualifications / certificates.

Tasks and responsibilities :

• Interpreting drawings and reading and understanding all instructions before starting each job
• Identifying and selecting the right materials, cleaning and preparing metal stock
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• In stalling metal finished product in the kitchen
• Fabricating parts together and metal finishing as specified
• Attaching fittings and completing the product build
• Quality checks on completed products
• Cleaning the product and completing final quality checks against specifications
• At all times using supplied PPE.
• Keeping work stations clean, tidy and safe;
• Assisting team members in other sections as directed.
