We, DP Garadoor Limited, are looking to employ energetic and passionate Garage Door Metal Fabricator to works with construction crews in various construction projects in Auckland, New Zealand.

∙ Job location / region : Auckland, New Zealand

∙ Number of positions for this job : 1

∙ Employment type : Permanent

∙ Days required : 5 days

∙ Hours per week : minimum of 40 hours a week is guaranteed, maximumof 50 hours per week

∙ Hourly rate : $30.00– 35.00 depends on the experiences and level

Job description :

∙ Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for garage door systems

∙ Fabricate custom templates and jigs for specialized projects

∙ Perform precise measurements and marking for metal cutting and formingoperations

∙ Operate metalworking machinery including shears, press brakes, andpunchpresses

∙ Modify existing garage door components to accommodate unique siterequirements

∙ Assemble structures using welding, bolting and riveting techniques

∙ Conduct quality inspections at all production stages

∙ Execute finishing work including grinding and polishing

∙ Adapt standard designs to meet specific project needs

∙ Maintain strict compliance with all safety regulations

∙ Complete detailed production documentation

Job pre-requisites :

∙ Level 4 or above relevant qualification, OR proven experience as garage door workerat least 2 years is required.

∙ Good communication skills.

∙ Basic mathematical skills.

∙ Ability to stand for long periods.

∙ Ability to operate hand and machine cutting metals

∙ Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.

∙ Good problem-solving skills.
