Co-Newhouse Limited specialises in delivering residential and commercial construction projects. We are currently looking for five Carpenters to join our growing team.

Position : Carpenter

Hourly Rate : $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Number of Positions : 5 positions available

Job Location : Auckland

Hours： minimum 30 hours

Job Description for This Position

You will be required to work across various sites throughout the Auckland region, for a minimum of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend work when needed.

Working with and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans to assist in preparing layouts and identifying required dimensions and materials.

Measuring, shaping, and cutting materials to specification using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.

Installing building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes.

Fabricating and fitting of joinery items such as doors, window frames, staircases, and built-in furniture.

Following established safety standards, ensuring tools and materials are used correctly, and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants :

At least 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role. Be physically fit, as the job involves heavy lifting.

A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.
