Job Description

Junotec Limited based at East Tamaki in Auckland specializes in installation of high-quality aluminium louvre systems, automated security gates, and select fencing solutions. We are looking for up to three carpenters to join our team.

You will be expected to work at different sites throughout the Auckland region, a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to work on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $30-$35 based on the candidates' experience and skills.

Job Description for This Position

Study drawings and specifications to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods.

Select, measure, cut, and assemble timber and wood-based products to create frameworks, roof structures, fences, door and window frames, and other fittings.

Erect roof framing, sub-flooring, floorboards, and structural frameworks, ensuring accuracy and stability.

Install fascia panels, exterior cladding, doors, and window frames with precision.

Cut wood joints and assemble prepared timber into structures and fittings ready for installation.

Repair or modify existing timber fittings as needed.

Work with a range of materials, including timber, laminates, metals, and aluminium components.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workshop and job site.

Follow company policies and demonstrate a professional, team-oriented attitude.

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants

At least two years of relevant experience in construction industry is required

Relevant qualification or certificate is an advantage.

Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role

Be physically fit as the job involves heavy lifting.

A positive and willing attitude to learn and progress.

Able to work with deadlines and schedules, and available to work weekends if required.
