Our International team provides wrap-around support and guidance to ensure our international students thrive in both their academic and personal experiences at St Paul's. As part of this, our homestay programme plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive home environment for students.
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and personable individual to join our team as Homestay Coordinator. In this role, you will :
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and a genuine interest in working with students from diverse cultures.
Experience working in an international department within an education environment is essential, as is a strong understanding of the Education Code of Practice (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners).
This is a part-time permanent role working up to 30 hours per week (during term time) and with some holiday work (usually one week per holidays). The successful applicant must hold a full NZ driver's licence and the right to work in New Zealand.
