The Waitakere Ranges Protection Society (WRPS) is seeking a motivated Heritage Area Coordinator to manage projects, engage members, and help us preserve the unique environment and heritage of the Waitakere Ranges.

About the Role : Part-time, approx.
4 hrs / week (flexible schedule)
Permanent role with meaningful community impact
Based in the Waitakere Ranges area (some remote work possible)
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate environmental protection projects and initiatives
Manage communications (newsletters, website, social media)
Support stakeholder and community engagement
Assist with events and advocacy campaigns
Provide administrative and compliance support
About You :
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience with project coordination or community engagement
Passion for environmental conservation and heritage protection
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also to have the ability to work alongside others as part of a team
