Retail NZ is a member-based organization providing business updates, advice, advocacy, financial savings, upskilling and insights to retailers across Aotearoa. We’re New Zealand’s peak body for retailers, accounting for nearly 70% of all domestic retail turnover. New Zealand's retail sector comprises approximately 30,000 businesses and employs around 227,000 kiwis.
We have a current vacancy for a full‑time Manager of Advocacy, Advice & Communication. The key purpose of this role is to ensure the voice of retail is heard at the highest levels and secure the best public policy outcomes for retailers.

What will you be doing?
The role entails managing a team responsible for research and policy development, marketing and our advice service. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead our submissions to government, media relations, working closely with the CEO on a range of projects and engaging with Government Ministers and officials to influence policy.
