Site Manager (Expressions Of Interest)

OverviewBLACK are seeking an experienced Site Manager to assume overall accountability for the control of the site team.

Being a principal company representative on the construction site, the Site Manager ensures safety, quality, cost, and time requirements are adhered to throughout the duration of the contract, including the maintenance period that follows.

This role is to specifically monitor and track the progress of all works to ensure adherence to the project timeline and budgets.

As a pivotal member of the delivery team, the Site Manager must lead by example, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring of team members, whilst directly and indirectly contributing towards day-to-delivery, competitive strategy, and net margin return.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and track progress of all works to ensure adherence to project timeline and budgets.Lead and mentor site team members; provide day-to-day guidance to support project delivery.Ensure safety, quality, cost control, and time requirements on site throughout the contract and maintenance period.Represent the company on the construction site and uphold professional standards and company values.Qualifications and Experience3-5 years' experience as a Site Manager in NZ, working on projects ranging from $5m+.

Previous experience in Commercial builds in NZ is desirable.Previous experience in Interiors and Fit Out in NZ is essential.Previous experience in Seismic upgrades / refurbishment in NZ is welcomed.A recognized certification or qualification in Carpentry, such as a National Certificate in Carpentry or an equivalent trade certification is desirable.Must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.About the CompanyYou will be joining a company that puts people and culture first.
