We're looking for a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-equipped workshop, managing maintenance and repairs across a varied fleet of machinery and vehicles.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for internal fleet and equipment upkeep.Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and repair a range of heavy diesel machinery, trucks, and vehicles
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs
Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
Assist with inventory and parts ordering
Recommend improvements to fleet maintenance practices
Skills and Qualifications :
Essential : Qualified mechanic
Desirable : Class 4 licence, WOF certification.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Experience with heavy machinery and vehicles
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Good communication and organisational skills
