Diesel Mechanic
We're looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join busy teams across Wellington.
You'll be working with a variety of diesel vehicles and machinery in a hands-on role that offers both variety and challenge.

About the role :
You'll be servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment across a range of industries.
Key tasks may include :
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling engines and components
Replacing worn or defective parts
Performing scheduled servicing (oil changes, tune-ups, lubrication)
Using diagnostic tools and computer systems
Testing and adjusting components for peak performance
Responding to breakdowns and callouts
Inspecting vehicles and advising on roadworthiness
Requirements :
3+ years' experience working on diesel engines
Trade qualification (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Own tools and reliable transport
Class 1 driver's licence preferred
Strong focus on health and safety
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Two recent work references
Benefits :
Pay range : $30–$40 / hr, based on experience
Minimum 30 hours / week guaranteed
Weekly pay + all PPE provided
