Job description

We are a nationwide service provider offering a comprehensive range of cargo logistics, stevedoring, marshalling, transportation, warehousing services, and IT solutions.

Our pursuit of excellence empowers New Zealand exporters to compete effectively in global markets.

We're looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to carry out rebuilds on a range of heavy off road machinery, including loaders, and material handlers and terminal tractors.

You'll work in a fully equipped refurbishment workshop with access to quality tooling and support.

This is a full-time, permanent role - Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM - with a base hourly rate of $

Specific Responsibilities :

Full stripdown and rebuild of port equipment

Replacing / repairing machinery components

Servicing machinery

Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, forklifts & trucks

Repairs to attachments, grapples & log heads

Who we're after :

NZQA Level 4 Trade Qualification (or overseas equivalent) is strongly preferred

Minimum of 2 years proven experience working on heavy vehicles and machinery.

Solid understanding of hydraulic systems.

Able to work independently and as part of a small team.

Bring a positive, can-do attitude to the role.
