Due to an outstanding project win we are urgently needing the following :
Principal Mechanical Engineer - Water
Salary Band : NZD 150,000 - 180,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical leadership on water and wastewater projects
- Lead complex designs for pipelines and pump stations
- Develop and execute strategies supporting the Water Sector business vision
- Mentor team members and manage project resources
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business growth
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and quality standards
Requirements
BE or equivalent qualificationChartered Engineer status with IPENZ or equivalentMinimum 8 years of professional experienceProven leadership and client relationship skillsIntermediate to Senior Mechanical Engineer - Water
Salary Band : NZD 100,000 - 140,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement water and wastewater pump stationsConduct hydraulic analysis and prepare technical specificationsReview and contribute to bids, proposals, and design reportsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project deliveryMentor junior team membersContribute to business development initiativesRequirements
BE or equivalent qualification5-8 years of relevant experienceWorking towards or achieved Chartered Engineer statusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIntermediate Mechanical Engineer - Water
Salary Band : NZD 70,000 - 100,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design of water and wastewater infrastructurePerform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizingPrepare technical drawings and contribute to project documentationSupport senior team members in project deliveryParticipate in site inspections and contractor managementRequirements
BE or equivalent qualification2-5 years of experience in the water sectorFamiliarity with local and national water infrastructure standardsProficiency in relevant engineering softwareTechnical Aspects Across All Levels
