This role is pivotal in providing construction supervision and project engineering services during the delivery of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Work is being performed safely - Health and Safety is a key focus

Ensuring projects are delivered to meet Watercare quality specifications

Ensuring environmental controls are in place and functioning as intended.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working in a team environment, and be an excellent communicator.

Your Skills And Background Must Include

Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction engineering

A strong team approach with the ability to communicate to people across the organisation, both internally and externally

A customer approach

Bachelor of Engineering (Washington Accord) or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Or alternatively you may have worked in construction management / supervision roles.

An understanding of Watercare and its infrastructure programme is an advantage.

A full driver's license is essential.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring

A Bachelor of Engineering (Washington Accord) or an equivalent qualification

Proven experience in construction project engineering or site management within infrastructure projects

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to engage effectively across internal and external stakeholders

A sound understanding of Watercare's strategic priorities and the ability to align your work with organisational goals

Experience in delivering mechanical projects within water or wastewater environments is advantageous, though not essential
