Laundry Worker

Overview

Te Puke Care Home located in Te Puke is searching for a Laundry Worker to join the team and make a real difference to the lives of our residents. This is a Casual position , hence there are no guaranteed weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Rotating roster covering Monday – Sunday.
• Hours of work : Ideal shift timings are 8 : 30am to 2 : 00pm.
• Total hours : No guaranteed weekly hours; it will be as per the requirement at the care home.
• Ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.
• Operating all laundry equipment as specified.
• Meeting of daily schedule to keep laundry up to date and advising Manager of any issues that impact on the maintenance of this.
• Maintaining clean / dirty delineation areas within the laundry.
• Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs.
• Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
