About the Role
The General Manager Quality Improvement and Risk Management provides senior oversight, vision, leadership and line accountability for enacting the Wairarapa Clinical Governance framework, and for the delivery of robust, fit for purpose quality improvement and risk management frameworks, practices and support for the district. As a member of the Leadership Team, the General Manager Quality Improvement and Risk will contribute to the overall leadership of the district and has a shared responsibility to drive the Strategic Direction and ensure that the different parts of the district work effectively together to deliver on its commitments.
This is a permanent, part-time position working up to 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday or as required. There is also a requirement to participate on the shared Executive "on-call roster" across a full week, Monday to Sunday.
