Senior Business Analyst – 6-Month Contract | Wellington

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support two concurrent transformation initiatives within a central government environment.

This role is ideal for someone who can confidently manage complex requirements, engage stakeholders, and drive delivery across multiple workstreams.

Role : Senior Business Analyst
Location : Wellington (on-site presence required)
Duration : 6 months (with potential extension)
Start : ASAP

What We’re Looking For

Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills

Clear, concise communication – written and verbal

Proven ability to bridge business needs and complex technical delivery

Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation

Experience with traceability from business needs through to delivery

Ability to define and shape high-level requirements and problem statements

Initiative, self-management and a solution-focused mindset

Confidence explaining and championing Business Analysis best practice

Personal Attributes

Adaptable and patient in complex delivery environments

Able to work autonomously while keeping stakeholders aligned

Comfortable operating across both discovery and detailed design phases

Practical and outcomes-focused
