Chef– Ingham'S Waitoa Cafeteria

We have a part-time opportunity based in our café at Ingham's Waitoa in the Matamata-Piako District (between Te Aroha and Morrinsville).

Ingham's is one of New Zealand's well-known poultry producing companies, and this site employs up to 700 production and office workers.

As well as the staff cafeteria which operates Monday to Friday, early until late, a free buffet meal is provided to all staff on site on a Friday.

Come join our team and help us to take our food service to the next level.In this role you will be a hands-on chef actively involved in the creating, cooking, and presentation of all food.

Supporting our Café Manager, you will take responsibility for the operation of the cafeteria during your shift and lead the team in the absence of the Manager.To be successful you must have great all-round cooking and baking skills as well as organisational skills.This position is part-time on Thursday and Fridays which may vary.The ideal candidate will :

• Be resilient and comfortable working within the unique environment of a chicken processing plant
• Have excellent communication skills and a flexible / can-do, committed attitude
• Be friendly and engaging, with a desire to be a productive and positive member of the team
