Join our Customer Protection team and shape Kiwibank's fraud prevention strategy through intelligence, analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
In this role you will :
Establish and maintain strong relationships with core Customer Protection team members, Police and other legal entities and internal stakeholders.
Participate in public private partnership forums and provide
Identify latent fraud and financial crime risk through analysis of fraud, scams, and emerging external fraud risk,
Provide intelligence support for complex investigations.
Participate in internal senior stakeholder meetings as required, advising on active fraud threats, emerging risks, and provide recommendations for potential risk mitigation activity.
Obtain key information from victims and threat actors alike when required
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends or recurring issues and sharing insights with the team.
Promote and role model Kiwibank's values, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and customer-focused culture where care and performance truly matter.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following :
At least five years' experience in either investigations, intelligence, or analytics within law enforcement or financial services, preferably both.
Experience with analytical and intelligence products within law enforcement or financial services, such as i2.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Solid critical thinking skills and confident decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing business and customer needs.
Strong understanding of fraud risk management within the financial services industry, encompassing customer experience, risk mitigation, and operational impacts.
