About the role : As our Business Intelligence & Data Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of optimising our finance systems.
You'll lead BI and reporting initiatives, act as a subject matter expert for our ERP implementation and ensure our data infrastructure supports both today's needs and tomorrow's growth.
From building powerful Power BI dashboards, to refining system integrations, to driving the optimisation of Workday Adaptive Planning — your work will empower leaders across the business to make confident, informed decisions.
You'll collaborate with finance, operations, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure systems are accurate, efficient, and future-ready.
This is a hands-on role where your ability to blend finance process knowledge with technical expertise will make a lasting impact.
What you'll do
Lead the implementation of Business Intelligence and reporting across Walter & Wild.
Act as a Finance SME in our ERP implementation, ensuring system design meets real business needs.
Build and maintain insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
Drive optimisation of Workday Adaptive Planning, integrating it seamlessly with other systems.
Map and refine finance-related systems to improve efficiency and scalability.
Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure adoption and best practice use.
Champion strong data governance and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
A background in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with practical experience in finance processes.
Hands-on experience implementing ERP or budgeting / forecasting tools.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Skills in SQL, data analysis, migration, and integration.
Excellent project management capability and stakeholder engagement skills.
FMCG or retail experience is a bonus, but not essential.
