Management Accountant

The role :

To provide accurate and timely financial management reporting and ensure control of AP, AR, and Payroll processes.

This role combines technical accounting, process management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities :

Assist in preparation of management accounts, variance analysis, and financial reports

Oversee the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions

Manage payroll functions (weekly / fortnightly and monthly), filing of payroll returns, annual leave accruals and reporting

Maintain monthly reconciliation of revenue (Fusion and NetSuite)

Daily cashflow reporting and weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts

Preparation and file GST returns

Manage landowner site rental calculations, bus license fee calculations and prepare monthly rental payment files

Month-end reporting

Identify opportunities to streamline AP, AR, and payroll processes.

Support decision-making with financial insights

What you'll bring

Qualified or part qualified Accountant

5+ years experience in management accounting, financial accounting or similar

Ability to adapt to continuously changing opportunities and priorities

Excellent excel and ERP systems knowledge

Experience managing AP, AR and payroll functions

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with sharp attention to detail

Ability to confidently present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
