Job Description
As a Receptionist you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.
You will assist guests with reservations, answer queries, and provide support throughout their stay.
Flexibility and availability are essential; you will work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests from around the world and build lasting relationships.
Maintain accuracy and professionalism with guest information, payments, and check-in / check-out procedures.
Provide local knowledge and promote hotel facilities to maximise occupancy and revenue.
Safely manage guest property, ensuring correct documentation and storage.
Promote Accor loyalty programmes to enhance guest satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Collaborate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Reservations, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and non-verbal.
Highly organised with great attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
Prior experience in a hotel or reservations environment is an advantage.
Familiarity with Opera Cloud, TARS Database, or similar PMS systems is preferred.
Willingness to work a flexible roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
New Zealand residency or possession of a permanent NZ work visa.
