About the Role
You will be part of a collaborative team within the head and neck service providing high quality care, improving equity and health outcomes for our local population, with a high Māori and Pasifika population. There are opportunities to develop subspecialist interests that will complement the department’s current service.
About the Team / Service / Location
The team is supported by a registrar, a house officer and a clinical specialty nurse. Moving forward, an additional registered nurse will also be supporting the team. The department is well equipped for all aspects of modern head and neck health care. We have close ties with allied health departments and other specialties, as well as regional and tertiary services to provide a comprehensive package of care. The department also provides medical education for undergraduate students and postgraduates.
