A secondment provides a valuable opportunity for internal staff to broaden their experience, develop new skills, and gain insight into another area of the university while continuing their employment with AUT.Key Responsibilities Responsible for placement administration for Initial Teacher Education (ITE) students across programmes taught at AUT's North, City and South campuses.
Secure practicum placements throughout Auckland and surrounding regions.
Manage all placement administration across several ITE programmes.
Work closely with other practicum and student administrators, students on practicum matters, and academic staff responsible for teaching and evaluative visits.
Build and foster positive working relationships with stakeholders through telephone, electronic communications and, when required, visiting schools.
About you 3-5 years' experience in a role reliant on positive multiple stakeholder relationships.
Able to manage placement administration software.
Excellent relationship-building and facilitation skills, with cultural sensitivity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ideally, experience within the education sector or alternatively a large complex environment.

Salary$59,000 – $78,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
