Plant Manager - Construction / Plant Maintenance

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager  to oversee the maintenance, servicing, and operational management of our construction plant and equipment. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring all machinery, vehicles, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards to support our construction projects efficiently and safely.

This is a full-time (40 hrs), permanent position with an annual salary of $95,000 to $115,000 depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all plant, trucks, and associated equipment.
• Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage the loading, unloading, and secure storage of construction materials, plant, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, service history, and plant usage.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and promote a culture of safety across the team.
• Liaise with project managers and site supervisors to coordinate timely delivery and movement of plant and materials.
• Supervise and support plant operators and maintenance staff, ensuring effective performance and training where required.
• Monitor performance of vehicles and equipment, proactively addressing any potential malfunctions.
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships related to plant servicing and parts procurement.
• Oversee the upkeep of sheds, site kitchenettes, and site hoardings, including painting and minor works.
