About The Role

This permanent part‑time position (0.7 FTE, 28 hours per week) works across Monday to Sunday, assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, comfort and supporting clinical procedures. Your work helps patients feel cared for during vulnerable moments.

The Emergency Department delivers 24 / 7 care to patients of all ages in a team that values empathy, cultural safety and teamwork. Located in Whakatāne, the role offers a lifestyle built on community, surf and connection.

What You Will Bring

• Certificate in Health Care Assistance Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a healthcare or related setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday
