About the Role

Support clinical excellence and confidence across Acute Care by stepping into a role designed to guide, mentor, and uplift nursing staff. This Clinical Coach position supports our wider strategy of building a sustainable and confident workforce in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The Acute Care Unit at Whakatāne Hospital includes a 11-bed unit comprising ICU / HDU / CCU beds and a general admission area, catering to adult and paediatric patients. As part of a small and highly skilled team, this role offers the chance to work across diverse presentations while also empowering others to thrive.

The Acute Care team works across high-dependency, intensive care, and general admission, providing care to a wide range of acute patients.
