Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa - Playcentre Aotearoa is a well known and loved Early Childhood organisation with over 80 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play. Playcentre operates over 400 Playcentres throughout the country.
Purpose of the position :
Space is an amazing programme that gives new parents that ‘village’ they need to help raise their baby. Many Space members move on to become Playcentre families.
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Programme Facilitators to join our team in the Bay of Plenty region.In particular; Whakatane (available Monday and Tuesday), Omokoroa (available Tuesday / Wednesday) and Various Tauranga / Mount Centres throughout the week. You will assist in the delivery of the Space Programme and work with babies and their whānau, ensuring participants are supported to build relationships with each other. As a Programme Facilitator, you and your co-facilitator will help parents and their babies connect withother new parents while exploring parenting, children’s development and most importantly, play, in a safe environment.
