Activities Assistant

There are 2 positions available :

1. A permanent, full-time position working around 192 hours / 6 weeks roster period on a 4 on and 2 off roster pattern. The preferred candidate must be flexible to work from Monday to Sunday (some weekends included).

2. Casual position - There are no guaranteed weekly hours. The preferred candidate must be flexible to work as per the requirement at the care home.

In this role, you will be supporting the Activities Coordinator, identifying the leisure activity needs of each of the Ascot Care Home residents based on their interests, preferences, and abilities and contribute to the planning and implementation of individual and group activities programmes.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Participate and contribute to both individual and group programme activities.
• Contribute to the review and assessment of the residents\' individual activities programme.
• Actively promote a homely, stimulating, and pleasant environment for the residents and their families.
• Develop and maintain excellent internal and external communication networks to support the activities programme.
